Alpes Encheres auction house in Chambéry, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a pair of French Louis XVI style ormolu and white marble mantel clock, Wednesday 23rd of October in Chambery.

 

Pendule aux faunes musiciens en bronze ciselé et doré et marbre blanc, figurant deux faunes adossés à une borne centrale contenant le cadran, en émail blanc à chiffres romains en noir signé G Gay Grenoble, surmontée d’ n putto aux cymbales. La base de forme oblongue en marbre blanc (égrenures) à frises de rinceaux et appliques à l’allégorie de la musique, supportée par six pieds.
