Le Floc'h auction house, in Saint-Cloud, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal sold at auction a French 18th century Aubusson tapestry, Sunday 4th February in Saint-Cloud.

MANUFACTURE ROYALE D'AUBUSSON.

Scène d'activité champêtre animée de quatre personnages dont un bourgeois près d'un cheval avec sa compagne et sur la droite une villageoise s'apprêtant à acheter du poisson à un personnage stylisé, entourés d'une belle végétation. Bordure à bambou orné de gerbes de fleurs polychromes encadrant des médaillons entourés de bouquets floraux.

Importante tapisserie en soie et laine (restaurations, usures et faiblesses des soies notamment dans le ciel).

France, fin du XVIIIe siècle.

Haut. : 230 cm - Larg. : 318 cm

Carton d'après Julliard : paysages à figurés des activités champêtres paysannes.
