Valuation of an Antique safe in our next auction

Alpes Encheres auction house in Chambery, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a 19th century iron safe, Tuesday 30 th September in Chambery.

 

 

Coffre-fort en fer forgé et riveté, de forme quadrangulaire, bardé de plaques de fer à forts rivets hémisphériques, à décor géométrique et floral, le vantail centré d'un important monogramme JB en laiton. Il ouvre par une serrure à clé découvrant une tablette et un secret. Porte à système de condamnation par multiples pênes. Intérieur de la porte laissant apparaître le mécanisme de fermeture, dissimulé sous trois caches circulaires en laiton. Il repose sur une plinthe en bois noirci.
