Valuation of a large marquetry cabinet in our next auction

Encheres Occitanes auctioneer in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a large marquetry cabinet, Friday 21st of June in Montauban.

Cabinet en placage de ronce de noyer marqueté de bois indigènes à décor géométrique dans une bordure de rinceaux de bois clairs et bois noirci, ouvrant par deux vantaux à miroir octogonal à décor d'une étoile, les côtés monogrammés sous couronne de marquis. Ils découvrent onze tiroirs et un guichet central, à deux portes, orné de miroirs, niches et armoiries sommées d'une couronne de marquis. Il repose sur une base quadrangulaire à huit montants torse en bois noirci réunis par une entretoise carrée à huit pieds en boule aplatie et est coiffé d'une corniche moulurée droite.

Composé d'éléments anciens, dans le style de Thomas Hache à Grenoble.
